How fun the Primula flowering tea set is.the flavor is great. Best buy around, I've checked many places.
I sent this as a gift for a friend in the US. She called me on the day she received it and said she was delighted with it and I could tell by her voice that she meant it. She said that she and her husband had rekindled their romance over a tete a tete tea party. Anyone for tea.
I received the Primula Flowering Tea Set with 40-Ounce Pot, Glass Lid and diffuser as a Christmas gift. I enjoyed the "flowering" tea (mild, but very pleasant), but noticed a crack in the diffuser which spread the first time I used it, causing a piece of the diffuser to break out. I contacted Primula, and they resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction so I can continue to enjoy their flowering teas as well as my own loose tea.Thanks Primula. It's refreshing to work with a company that's responsive to it's customers.
The box with the tea pot & tea was wrapped in huge, puffy bubble wrap before it was placed in the larger box, and it all arrived intact. I re-ordered it, but not from Amazon.
However, when I received it I noticed how little padding/packing material there was. This is theoretically a great gift.
Great item, poor packaging. The box with the pitcher & tea was placed in a larger box with very little packing material - maybe some brown paper, but not much.
Because of this, the tea pot had broken in a couple of places. I re-ordered it from Bed, Bath, and Beyond - same price, MUCH better packing.
Usually I'm very satisfied with my shopping experiences on Amazon, but for this item in particular, I recommend purchasing it somewhere else.
I received a free shipping promo on the item, and the website said that it would ship within 7 days. I ordered this teapot when I had a ladies tea planned at my church, but I never thought that I would receive it in time. I placed the order on a Tuesday, and the event was on Saturday morning. I could not have been more amazed than to get home on Wednesday (yes that is the next day) to find the package on my porch. The product is BEAUTIFUL, and I received many complements on it at my ladies tea, where it was the center of attention.
